The scheme “Life Saving Technique Water Sports Operator” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board under the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to train youth of the state as certified trainers and operators in water life-saving techniques.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a youth of Uttarakhand.
  2. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. The applicant should be able to swim 100 meters within 3 minutes.
  4. The applicant must be educated.
  5. The applicant must be mentally and physically healthy.

The total number of 15 beneficiaries will be selected.

  • The prescribed application form must be duly filled and submitted along with the required documents to the office of the District Tourism Development Officer.
  • The applications are evaluated on practical parameters by the trainers from the National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS), Goa.
