Benefits

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be a boy or girl between 14 and 23 years of age.
- The boy or girl who obtain the highest marks based on merit in the final district-level competition, conducted through various stages of the Physical and Sports Aptitude Test (P-SAT) assessing physical abilities such as strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, and coordination, will be eligible for the sports scholarship.
- Scholarships are awarded on a priority basis in the following sports: (1) Athletics, (2) Badminton, (3) Boxing, (4) Taekwondo, (5) Kabaddi, (6) Football, (7) Volleyball, (8) Basketball, (9) Hockey, (10) Table Tennis, (11) Karate, and (12) Judo.
Application Process
Offline
- There is no selection at the school or Nyaya Panchayat level.
- Players independently participate in competitions held directly at the municipality, municipal corporation, or district level, and selections are made based on merit.
- Six competitions will be organized to test physical efficiency: (1) 30-meter flying run (2) Standing broad jump (3) Forward bend and reach (4) 6 × 10 shuttle run (5) Medicine ball throw (6) 600-meter run
- The district-level selection committee will issue a final list in each age group who secure the highest marks based on merit. These players will be eligible for the sports scholarship, which will be directly transferred to their accounts through DBT.
