Details

The Khadi Vikash Fund is a new initiative under the Rajasthan Khadi and Gram Udhyog Board aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises in the khadi sector. The fund provides financial assistance for purchasing raw materials such as cotton and wool, and for modernizing production equipment. A revolving fund of ₹3.00 crores has been allocated to facilitate these purchases. To access the raw materials, institutions must deposit 35% of the amount in cash and provide post-dated checks for the remaining 65% within six months. The fund also offers interest-free working capital loans to help institutions pay for raw materials and wages for workers. The application process requires submission of a specific form along with a non-judicial stamp and a declaration. The loan must be used solely for production-related expenses, and strict guidelines are in place to ensure compliance.
