This scheme aims to enable Khadi institutions/committees to produce and sell not only Khadi products but also high-quality village industry goods in the current competitive era. The Deputy Chief Minister has announced the approval for providing loans and assistance to selected Khadi institutions/committees under the Khadi and Gramodyog Promotion Scheme for the year 2024-25. As per the budget announcement, loans and assistance will be provided in the form of interest subsidy on bank loans, either the actual interest or 8 percent, whichever is lower.
