Details

The Kali Bai Bheel Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Scheme aims to encourage meritorious girl students in Rajasthan to enroll in government schools from 9th to 12th grade and excel in their studies. The scheme promotes competition among students, encourages higher education, and provides transportation facilities. The number of scooters provided to girls under the Kali Bai Bheel and Devenarayan schemes is set to increase from 20,000 to 30,000, with an option for electric scooters also proposed.

Eligibility

  1. The benefit is available to girl students who:
    (a) Have studied and passed from a government school from 9th to 12th grade.
    (b) Have scored 75% or more in the 12th-grade examination conducted by the Rajasthan Secondary Education Board.
    (c) Are enrolled in the first year of undergraduate courses in government colleges/state-funded universities in Rajasthan.
  2. The income of the student's parents/guardians must not exceed ₹2.50 lakh.
  3. The benefit is available to unmarried, married, widowed, and divorced students.
  4. Students receiving other scholarships or financial assistance are not eligible for this scheme but can apply for other schemes.
  5. Students with a gap between 12th grade and the first year of undergraduate studies are not eligible.

Exclusions

Scheduled Tribes (TADA/MADA) and Extremely Backward Classes are excluded from this scheme.
