The Journalists' Family Benefit Fund is provided from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to support the families of journalists who have served in various capacities such as editor, sub-editor, reporter, photographer, or proofreader for a minimum of 20 years and have passed away while in service. The fund offers financial assistance ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2 Lakhs.


Journalists' Family Benefit Fund is given from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to families of Journalists who have served in any of these capacities viz, editor, sub-editor, reporter, photographer, proof reader for 20 years and passed away while in service.
