Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for Inter-Caste Marriage Award:

  1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  2. The age of the couple should not exceed 50 years.
  3. The marriage must be registered under the applicable Act/Rules.
  4. The applicant should not have received any Inter-Caste Marriage Award earlier.

Application Process:

Step 1: The interested applicant can download the application form from the official website.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the Concerned District Welfare Officer/Tehsil Welfare Officer.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the Concerned District Welfare Officer/Tehsil Welfare Officer to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
