Details

The HRT-3 Integrated Horticulture Development Program for Tribal Area Farmers (TASP) provides various forms of assistance aimed at enhancing horticultural practices among tribal farmers. This includes support for publication, exhibitions, competition seminars, and stall rental payments for horticultural crops. The scheme also facilitates farm mechanization through the provision of power tillers and mini tractors, as well as the establishment of new distillation units for medicinal and aromatic crops. Additionally, it supports the establishment of new processing units for cashew and other fruit crops, and offers subsidies for sea and air fridge exports of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and plants. The program ensures a Minimum Support Price for horticultural crops to stabilize market rates and provides subsidies on electricity bills for greenhouses and tissue culture laboratories. Other benefits include assistance for harvesting and processing equipment, packing materials for post-harvest management, crop protection equipment, and the establishment of high-tech greenhouses, polyhouses, net houses, and trellies for various vegetables.
