The Instrument Assistant scheme provides financial assistance to students from socially and educationally backward classes pursuing Medical and Engineering studies. The assistance is offered at different rates: Rs. 10,000 for Medical students, Rs. 8,000 for Engineering students, and Rs. 3,000 for Diploma students. The income limit for eligibility is set at Rs. 6.00 lakh.

Students from socially and educationally backward classes who are pursuing Medical or Engineering studies. The individual and family income limit is Rs. 6.00 lakh.
