The “Halpati Housing Scheme” was launched by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to Halpati (Talaviya, Nayaka) families belonging to Scheduled Tribes for building safe and sustainable housing. Under this scheme, monetary aid is provided in phases directly into the bank accounts of the Halpati beneficiaries residing in South Gujarat districts such as Surat, Tapi, Valsad, Navsari, Narmada, Bharuch, Chhotaudepur, and Vadodara.

Eligibility
- The applicant should belong to the Halpati (Talaviya, Nayaka) caste, which is recognized under Scheduled Tribes.

Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the Gandhinagar Head Office and Sub-Offices at Surat and Valsad and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the sub-offices located at Surat and Valsad.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the sub-offices located at Surat and Valsad to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).
