Details

The Grant in Aid Hostels scheme aims to address the issue of Scheduled Tribe students dropping out of education after primary school due to a lack of secondary school facilities in their villages. To ensure these students can continue their education, hostels have been established in locations where secondary schools are available. This initiative has been implemented by voluntary organizations under the Grant-in-Aid system since 1969.
