Details

The "Grant for the Repair of House" scheme is implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB), Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹20,000/- is provided to registered construction workers who have been members of the Board for at least three years for the repair of their house. However, workers who have already received financial assistance for house construction, bicycles, or tools are not eligible for this benefit. The assistance is provided only once to each eligible worker.

Eligibility

  1. The worker should be engaged in building or construction work.
  2. The worker should be registered with the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  3. The registered worker should have a minimum of three years of continuous membership.
  4. The worker's membership with the Welfare Board should be active at the time of application.
  5. The workers who have already received financial assistance for house construction, bicycles, or tools are not eligible for this benefit.
  6. The assistance will be provided only once to a worker.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of the Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on "Labour Registration".
Step 3: Enter your Aadhar card number and name, then click "Authenticate".
Step 4: A dashboard will appear. Enter all required details, ensuring that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are filled in correctly.
Step 5: Click on "Submit" and proceed to pay the application fee online.
Step 6: You will receive your construction worker registration number upon successful registration.

Step 2: Click on "Login" and select "Labour".
Step 3: Enter your registration number & year of Birth, click "Show" to view your details.

Step 5: Enter all required information and upload the necessary documents.
Step 6: Click on "Submit Application" to complete the process.
