The Govt. of India Pre matric scholarship scheme for std. 9 & 10 (75:25) is designed to provide financial assistance to tribal students studying in classes 9 and 10 in primary schools. Eligible students must have passed the previous annual examination to qualify for the benefits under this scheme.

Benefits

  • - Scholarship for Hostler: ₹6250per annum
  • Scholarship for Day Scholar: ₹3000per annum
  • Books and Ad Hoc Grant for Hostler: ₹1000per annum
  • Books and Ad Hoc Grant for Day Scholar: ₹750per annum
  • Additional scholarship for disabled students: ₹800per month for hostel students (₹9600per annum)
  • Additional scholarship for disabled students: ₹600per month for day scholars (₹7200per annum)
  • Scholarship for Hostler: ₹6250 per annum
  • Scholarship for Day Scholar: ₹3000 per annum

Eligibility

Tribal students studying in classes 9 to 10 who have passed the previous annual examination. Family income limit is ₹250,000.

  3. Submit the application to the Principal of the corresponding school.
