Details
The Gaurav Puraskar Award is an initiative that recognizes and rewards 12 artistes annually for their significant achievements in the fields of music, dance, drama, and folk art. Each selected individual receives a cash award of Rs. 1,000, a trophy, and a letter of appreciation. This scheme is managed by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department of the State Government of Gujarat.

To apply, individuals must submit the application form on plain paper along with the required attachments, including an Aadhar Card, attested copy of PAN Card, bank passbook or cancelled cheque, identity card, and passport-sized photos. Applications should be sent to the Member Secretary, Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Akademi, Block no. 14/2, Dr. Jivaraj Mehta Bhawan, Gandhinagar. The application form is available from the same office.
