This scheme is designed to assist fishermen by providing financial support for the purchase of essential equipment needed for deep-sea fishing. It includes assistance for electrical and lifesaving equipment, such as life buoy rings, to ensure the safety of fishermen during emergencies. Additionally, the scheme offers a daily allowance to the families of fishermen who are captured in Pakistan, providing them with sustenance and financial aid. Furthermore, it aims to subsidize the costs of refrigerator vans, deep freezers, ice plants, and cold storage facilities to help keep fish fresh for longer periods.
