- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must have successfully completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra organized by the Government of India.
- The applicant must have undertaken the journey through the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam.

Application Process
Online
Permanent residents of the state who have completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via the Pithoragarh Yatra route can apply online through the Apuni Sarkar portal, after receiving a recommendation from the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam. The main documents required for the application are as follows:
- Permanent/Domicile Certificate of Uttarakhand
- Travel Completion Certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, along with other travel-related documents
- Photocopy of bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code
- Photocopy of PAN card
- Photocopy of Aadhaar card
After submission, the application forms are scrutinized by the Director's office. If the documents are found to be correct, the reimbursement amount is credited to the concerned individual.
