The “Financial Assistance to Non-Pensioner World War-II Veterans and Their Widows” scheme was launched by the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- The applicant must be a non-pensioner World War-II veteran who served between 1 September 1939 and 14 August 1945, or his lawful widow.
- The veteran must have been discharged from military service due to demobilization after the end of World War-II.
- The applicant must not be receiving any pension from defense services or any other source.
- In case of the veteran’s death, only the lawful widow is eligible for the benefit.
- Upon the death of the widow, no other heir (children or relatives) becomes eligible.

Registration
Step 1: Visit the official website of "Sainik Welfare", and click "Log-in".
Step 2: In the online registration form, fill the following mandatory fields: Email ID, Mobile Number. Create a password and confirm. Finally, click "Submit" to complete the registration.
Step 3: After successful registration, the User ID and Password will be generated.
Application
Step 1: Visit the official website. Sign in using your Username and Password created during registration.
Step 2: Navigate to the online form of the scheme. In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size.
Step 3: Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. Click "Save Application". You'll receive a confirmation message upon successful submission of the application, along with an "application number". Click "Print Application" to print the application.
Offline
Application Process
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the District Sainik Welfare Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the respective District Sainik Welfare Office.
Post-Application Process
Step 1:**** The District Sainik Welfare Officer verifies the service records, residence status, and pension status.
Step 2:**** Verified applications are forwarded to the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal for approval.
Step 3:**** The Directorate allocates funds to the concerned District Sainik Welfare Office.
Step 4:**** The District Office credits the monthly assistance directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.
