Under this scheme, the department provides financial assistance to eminent litterateurs, writers, and poets of the state whose works remain unpublished due to lack of funds.

1. The applicant must be a native or permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant must be an eminent litterateur, writer, author, or poet.
3. The applicant’s literary work must remain unpublished solely due to financial constraints.

The department publishes advertisements in newspapers inviting applications for book publication. After the advertisement is issued, eligible beneficiaries can apply online through the Apuni Sarkar portal. The key documents required are as follows:

2. Quotation for printing the book
3. Aadhaar Card
4. Bank Account Details
5. PAN Card
6. Permanent Residence Certificate

A departmental committee is constituted to examine the applications and manuscripts received. Financial assistance for book publication is provided only after the committee’s recommendation.
