Details
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided for the publication of original books written in the Gujarati language. This includes decent original works related to art, language, literature, classical research, criticism, and literary history. The scheme specifically supports publications that would not be accessible to the public without financial aid, as the financial burden has been shifted to private publishers or institutions that are unwilling to publish these works. Additionally, authors may not be able to bear the full cost of publication due to financial constraints. The aim of the scheme is to encourage the publication of such works.
