Eligibility
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/More Other Backward Classes (MOBC) community of Assam.
- The applicant must have passed the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) or Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Preliminary Examination in the current year.
*Fulfilling eligibility does not guarantee benefits, as the Selection Committee has the right to reject applications without assigning reasons.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: Visit the Official Website of the Directorate of Welfare of Plains Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam. Download the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, before the deadline, to the Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Dispur Last Gate, Satrinivash Path, Guwahati-6.
