Details
The "Farm Storage Structure Scheme" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to provides financial assistance to farmers for constructing crop storage structures on their farms. It ensures protection from unforeseen weather conditions like rain and storms and enables farmers to store their produce until market prices are favorable.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a land-holding farmer.
- The applicant must belong to the Gujarat state.
Note:
- In case of joint account, beneficiary farmers shall be entitled to benefit only one of the holders of their land mentioned in 8-A subject to the consent of other account holders.

Application Process:
Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at I-Khedut Portal: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/
Step 2: On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.
Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button and an application page will open.
Step 4: Click on "Apply New" button and submit a new application.
Step 5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application.
Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.
Step 7: Take a print out of the confirmed application.

Post- Application Process:
Step 1: After applying, they must print the application, sign or provide a thumb impression, and keep a copy.
Step 2: Approval for construction is granted based on the application.
Step 3: The farmer must construct the storage structure as per government rules within the specified timeframe.
Step 4: After construction, the signed application and assistance case paper must be submitted to the concerned office for financial support.
