Details

The scheme aims to demonstrate and popularize new crops, varieties, and technologies in agriculture and allied sectors. It focuses on diversifying production systems, including Dryland Horticulture, Agro Forestry, Household production systems, and the adoption of proven technologies. Activities supported under this scheme include Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), Integrated Pest Management (IPM), fodder development, organic farming, multiple cropping, improved intercropping, seed village concepts, fisheries development in village ponds, farm ponds, and tanks, sericulture, backyard poultry, livestock management, and other micro enterprises.


Demonstration for popularizing new crops/ varieties, and new technologies in Agriculture and allied sectors. Diversification of production systems like Dryland Horticulture, Agro Forestry,
Household production system,Adoption of proven technology,
activities like INM, IPM, Fodder development, Organic farming,
Multiple cropping, Improved inter cropping seed village concept,
Fisheries development in village ponds, farm ponds and tanks,
Sericulture, back yard poultry,Livestock management and other micro enterprises etc. are carried out under this component.
