Details

This scheme provides financial assistance and benefits to the dependents of soldiers who have died in various wars and operations, as well as to permanently disabled soldiers. Eligible beneficiaries can receive a one-time cash amount of ₹25 lakh, along with either 25 bighas of land or a housing board MIG house, or ₹50 lakh. Additional benefits include monthly income schemes for parents, free education, electricity connections, bus passes, and the naming of a place after the martyr.

Eligibility

Dependents of soldiers who have been declared as battle casualties in any war or operation, or soldiers who have been declared permanently disabled due to injuries sustained in such wars or operations.

Required documents include a battle casualty certificate issued by the Army Headquarters and a permanent disability certificate indicating a disability of 40% or more.
