Exhibition of Books on Tiatr, Its Song and Music

The scheme "Exhibition of Books on Tiatr, Its Song and Music" was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to help Roman Script Konkani writers and publishers who face difficulties in marketing their books related to Tiatr, its song and music, while promoting Tiatr culture among enthusiasts. The scheme provides bulk purchase of books at 80% of the fixed rate and organizes book exhibitions to facilitate better market reach for publishers. The applicant must be a writer or publisher of books related to Tiatr, its song and music, and must submit 3 copies of their published book for evaluation. The scheme is implemented by Tiatr Academy Goa through its appointed Recommendation Committee. The applications for this scheme are accepted offline.

Book Purchase: Tiatr Academy Goa will purchase books at 80% of the rate fixed as per Tiatr Academy Goa conditions.
Marketing Support: Books are sold through book exhibitions organized by Tiatr Academy Goa and participation in exhibitions by various Book Houses and Institutions.
Promotional Platform: Books receive exposure to Tiatr lovers and enthusiasts through organized exhibitions.

Conditions
*Tiatr Academy Goa reserves the right to sell books at discounted rates during exhibitions.
*Payment will be made only after Tiatr Academy Goa's final decision to purchase the books.
*Books will be purchased on 'First-come-First' serve basis.
*The final purchase decision remains at the discretion of Tiatr Academy Goa even after Committee recommendation.

• The applicant must be a writer or publisher of books related to Tiatr, its song and music.
• The applicant should have published books in any script or language (not limited to Roman Konkani script).

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the office of Tiatr Academy of Goa to collect the prescribed application form for the scheme.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). The application should express the intent to avail benefit under this scheme. Sign the application form and mention the date.
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to -

*Applicants are advised to save a copy of the submitted application form and any acknowledgment.

Committee Review & Recommendation

Step 1: The Tiatr Academy Goa appointed Recommendation Committee will scrutinize the submitted book and evaluate its relevance to Tiatr, its song and music.
Step 2: The Recommendation Committee will recommend to Tiatr Academy Goa whether the book can be purchased or not based on their evaluation.
Step 3: Tiatr Academy Goa will make the final decision on book purchase, reserving the right not to purchase even if recommended by the Committee.

Price Negotiation, Book Purchase and Exhibition

Step 1: If the book is approved, the price will be fixed as per Tiatr Academy Goa conditions, with Tiatr Academy Goa paying 80% of the agreed rate.
Step 2: If Tiatr Academy Goa decides to purchase the books, the applicant will be informed in writing about the decision and further procedures.
Step 3: Tiatr Academy Goa will purchase the books on 'First-come-First' serve basis and include them in their book exhibitions and promotional activities.
