The scheme “Establishment and Operation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Laboratories” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to establish STEM laboratories in schools across Uttarakhand to provide students of classes 6 to 12 with hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning opportunities and strengthen their practical understanding of scientific concepts.

Eligibility
- Students must be studying in classes 6 to degree level in a school in Uttarakhand.
- Students from schools with a STEM laboratory, as well as those from nearby schools, are eligible to use the STEM laboratories.
Application Process
Offline
All students of schools with STEM laboratories can conduct experiments in the laboratories established in their schools, while students from schools without laboratories can avail of this benefit by visiting nearby schools that have STEM labs.
