Details
The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of Rajasthan, is announcing a series of fascinating astronomical activities for young and curious enthusiasts. In collaboration with the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC), DST Rajasthan has launched the 'DST- Rajasthan Asteroid Search Campaign'. This campaign allows students to engage in hands-on astronomy and make original astronomical discoveries from home at no cost. Preference will be given to shortlist at least one team from each district of Rajasthan, and exceptional teams from outside the province will also be considered.

Eligibility
Students from 10th class onwards (maximum team size of 4). Selection will be based on prior exposure to astronomy and motivation to participate.
Application Process

- Register online through Google Form submission (Link: https://bit.ly/3b12Yjx).
- Short-listing of teams by experts.
- Training of team members on basic data analysis via webinar platforms.
- Allotment of astronomical data to each team.
- Login and download data from the IASC website.
- Analyze the data.
- Prepare a report of findings.
- Submit the report to IASC and DST Rajasthan.
- Announcement of discoveries by IASC.
- Distribution of certificates.
