Details
The Double Fortified Salt Distribution scheme aims to protect against diseases such as Anemia and Goiter. The State Government distributes 1 kg of Double Fortified Salt monthly to all National Food Security Act (NFSA) cardholders at a subsidized rate of Rs 1 per kg per card. However, non-NFSA Above Poverty Line (A.P.L) ration cardholders do not benefit from this scheme.
