The scheme "Divyangjan Kaushal Yojana" was announced by the Hon'ble Finance Minister during the presentation of the Union Budget 2026-2027. The scheme is planned to be launched by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The scheme aims to ensure dignified livelihood opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) by providing industry-relevant and customized training specific to each group. The scheme provides skill development in high-growth sectors such as Information Technology, Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC), and hospitality, focusing on task-oriented and process-driven roles. The applicant must be a Person with Disability seeking employment-oriented skill training.

- The applicant must be a Person with Disability (Divyangjan).
