DISTRICT LEVEL PRIZES PUBLIC EXAMINATION 10th Standard and 12th Standard

The District Level Prizes for Public Examinations are awarded to students from Backward Classes (BC) and Most Backward Classes (MBC) in Tamil Nadu. The scheme aims to encourage educational achievement among these communities by providing monetary awards for high performance in the 10th and 12th standard public examinations. The prizes are divided into three categories: First, Second, and Third prizes, with specific amounts allocated for boys and girls from the eligible communities.

FIRST PRIZE Four First Prizes for one boy and one girl from Backward Classes and one boy and one girl from Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities.

To avail the benefits, students must be enrolled in schools that participate in the scheme. The awards are distributed through the respective schools based on the examination results.
