The District Level Prizes for Public Examinations are awarded to students from Backward Classes (BC) and Most Backward Classes (MBC) in Tamil Nadu. The scheme aims to encourage educational achievement among these communities by providing monetary awards for high performance in the 10th and 12th standard public examinations. The prizes are divided into three categories: First, Second, and Third prizes, with specific amounts allocated for boys and girls from the eligible communities.
