The scheme aims to provide protein-rich and nutritious food to beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act 2013. The State Government distributes 1 kg of Whole Gram Chana at a fixed subsidized rate of Rs 30 per kg per card every month. This scheme benefits 71 lakh NFSA card holders, while non-NFSA A.P.L and B.P.L. ration card holders do not qualify for this scheme.
