Distribution of AID and Appliances Scheme

The scheme provides financial assistance and artificial aids/appliances to eligible specially-abled individuals whose families are not income tax payers. The assistance can be up to ₹10,000 for items such as tricycles, crutches, wheelchairs, calipers, hearing aids, blind sticks, Jaipur foot/shoes/palm pads, etc.

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
2. The applicant must have a disability certificate issued by a medical board, indicating a disability of 40% or more.
3. The applicant and their family must not be income tax payers based on their total income from all sources.

1. Obtain the application form from the office of the District Collector.
2. Submit the application along with required documents to the Social Justice and Empowerment Department office of the respective district.
3. Required documents include:
   • Disability certificate
   • Income certificate
   • Birth certificate
   • Affidavit of income
