Details
The “Disability Pension” scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide a monthly pension to registered construction workers who have become permanently disabled due to paralysis, leprosy, tuberculosis, accidents, etc.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a construction worker registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board who has become permanently disabled due to paralysis, leprosy, tuberculosis, accident, etc.

Application Process
Online - via CSC
- Online applications are submitted through Shramik Suvidha Kendras.
- Along with the application form, it is mandatory to attach the following documents: Shramik Card, Aadhaar Card, Medical Certificate of permanent disability issued by a Government CMS/CMO, an Affidavit stating that no benefits have been taken under any other scheme, and a Self-Declaration Certificate.
- The worker must apply within one year from the date of becoming permanently disabled. After submission, the department conducts an investigation. If the details are verified as correct, the department provides a monthly pension of ₹1,000/- and a one-time ex-gratia amount of ₹40,000/- directly into the construction worker’s account.
