Details
The Devnarayan Gurukul Yojana was initiated in the financial year 2011-12 by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department to support students from the Special Backward Class (SBC) studying in grades 6 to 12. This scheme aims to provide assistance in obtaining education by facilitating admission into recognized prestigious schools for students who are residents of Rajasthan, have passed the fifth-grade examination, and whose parents are not income taxpayers. The scheme allows for the admission of 500 students each year.

Eligibility
- Students from the Special Backward Class (SBC) studying in grades 6 to 12 who are residents of Rajasthan.
- Students must have passed the fifth-grade examination with at least a minimum grade of C.
- Parents of the students should not be income taxpayers.
- A maximum of two children from one parent can be eligible for admission and benefits.
Exclusions
Students whose parents are income taxpayers are not eligible.
