The Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) was launched by the Ministry of Power, Government of India on December 3, 2014. The scheme aims to strengthen the power supply system in rural areas through feeder segregation, rural electrification, and household electrification. It includes the approval of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for 33 districts in Rajasthan, with a total project cost of approximately Rs. 3241.05 Crores. The funding pattern consists of a 60% grant from the Government of India and 40% from the state or utility, which includes a 30% loan from banks and financial institutions and a 10% contribution from the utility. The project aims to ensure a reliable and quality power supply in rural areas, with a completion period of 24 months from the issuance of the Letter of Intent.

Eligibility
The scheme is applicable to all rural areas where the work of the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) has been completed in the 33 projects of the three Discoms.
Exclusions
Feeders that have already been segregated by the utilities are not eligible for coverage under this scheme.
