Details

The Decentralized People Nursery Scheme aims to support small and marginal farmers, below poverty line farmers, non-agricultural laborers, schools, and common citizens by providing financial assistance for raising saplings. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can raise between ten thousand to twenty thousand saplings, with payments made in three installments at a rate of two rupees and twenty paisa per seedling. Interested individuals must apply in the prescribed format to the Deputy Conservator of Forests through the relevant District Forest Officer, submitting a copy of the location for the nursery, a photograph, and necessary bank account details. Verification of the application will be conducted with the approval of the concerned District Forest Officer from the Office of Social Forestry.
