The "Death Assistance" scheme provides financial assistance to the legal heir in the case of natural death or accidental death of the registered worker. If the death occurs during a disaster and a grant has already been given by Disaster Management, only ₹1,00,000/- will be payable by the Board.

The "Death Assistance" scheme, implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB) under the Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar, provides financial assistance to the legal heir in the case of natural death or accidental death of the registered worker. If the death occurs during a disaster and a grant has already been given by Disaster Management, only ₹1,00,000/- will be payable by the Board.

Eligibility
- The deceased construction worker should have been registered with the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB).
- The worker's membership with the Welfare Board must be active at the time of death.
- The only person who is a legal heir/dependent family member of the deceased registered worker is eligible to apply under the scheme.
