The COP-5 scheme provides financial assistance for the restructuring and rehabilitation of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and Large Size Multi-Purpose Co-operative Societies (LAMPS). This assistance is aimed at both profitable and non-profitable societies, offering them 1 to 2 times the additional amount for short and medium-term credit, based on collections and deposits made in the current year compared to the last three years. Societies receive percentage-wise incentive assistance.
