Details
The Construction Workers Tool/Toolkit Assistance Scheme is established under Section 22(1)(h) of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, and the rules framed under the Rajasthan Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2009. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to registered construction workers for purchasing tools or toolkits necessary for their work. Eligible beneficiaries must have been registered for at least three years and must be regular contributors to the welfare fund. The scheme is applicable throughout the state of Rajasthan.

Eligibility
- Construction workers registered as beneficiaries for at least three years and regularly contributing to the welfare fund.
- The scheme covers various trades such as masons, electricians, plumbers, painters, carpenters, etc.
- The toolkit must be purchased after the scheme's implementation date and the application must be submitted within six months of the purchase date.
Exclusions
The reimbursement is only applicable for tools and toolkits directly related to the beneficiary's work. Items such as glasses, hearing aids, gas welding machines, lathe machines, or other non-portable machines are not included. The reimbursement can only be claimed once.
Application Process
Online
- Fill out the application form (Form-1).
- Submit the application to the local labor office or authorized officer of the board.
- Applications can also be submitted online.
- Required documents include:
- Copy of registration ID.
- Original bill/invoice for toolkit purchase.
- Copy of Aadhaar card and Bhamashah card (optional).
- Copy of the first page of the savings bank passbook showing the beneficiary's name, account number, and IFSC code.
- The application will be reviewed and approved by the authorized officer, and the reimbursement will be transferred electronically to the beneficiary's bank account.
