The "Computer Training Scheme for Visually Impaired Persons" scheme was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to provide computer-based intensive training, screen-reading software support, and a post-training laptop to visually impaired beneficiaries to enhance their education and livelihood opportunities.
Objectives
The scheme provides intensive computer training with screen-reading software to visually impaired persons, improving their digital skills for education and employment. It helps them access information online and supports their goals in higher studies, competitive exams, and self-employment.
Training
The program is conducted in two shifts for two months and includes computer hardware, software, trainers, internet connectivity, and study support.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- The applicant must have 40% or more visual impairment.
- The applicant must belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) household.
- The applicant must have passed class 8th with at least 50% marks.1. The applicant is eligible to receive training only once under this scheme.

Online
Samagra ID Creation:
- The applicant visit the official website and click on the "Register".- On the new page, enter the Mobile number which was linked with Aadhaar Number and authenticate via OTP.
- Now provide the Aadhaar number and enter the new OTP.
- On the new page, provide the basic details, complete address
- Give the consent and submit.
Application Process:
- Joint Director/Deputy Director, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare will upload the data through online application on the departmental portal (http://socialjustice.mp.gov.in).
