The “Community Food Processing Centre” is initiated by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to promote skill development and entrepreneurship in food processing by enabling individuals and farmers to process fruits and vegetables, add value to their produce, and enhance income opportunities through community-based facilities.

Eligibility
Training:
- Any individual or farmer from Uttarakhand can receive training at the Community Food Processing Centre. A fee of ₹15/- is charged per trainee for the training.
Food Processing:
- Food products can be prepared at the Community Food Processing Centre by providing the required raw materials. A fee of ₹15/- per kilogram is charged for processing.

- Selection is made on a first-come, first-served basis.
