Financial assistance of up to ₹20,000 or the actual coaching fee paid is provided to SEBC and economically backward students in Gujarat for preparation of competitive exams such as IIM, CEPT, NIFT, NLU, IELTS, TOEFL, and GRE. Eligible candidates must be permanent residents of Gujarat, have completed Class 10 or 12, and have an annual family income not exceeding ₹6,00,000.

The scheme "Coaching Assistance for Pre-Preparation for Competitive Exams of All India Level like IIM, CEPT, NIFT, NLU and IELTS, TOEFL, GRE for Going Foreign" was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to financially support SEBC and economically backward students preparing for national-level and international entrance exams. Under this scheme, eligible candidates receive up to ₹20,000/- or the actual tuition fee paid, whichever is lower, as assistance for coaching fees.

Eligibility
- The applicant should be a student.
- The applicant must belong to the SEBC or Economically Backward Class category.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
- The applicant must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 (SSC or HSC).
- The applicant must be preparing for one of the eligible competitive exams (IIM, CEPT, NIFT, NLU, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE).
- The applicant must have paid tuition/coaching fees for the exam preparation.
- The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ₹6,00,000/-.

Online
Step 01: The eligible applicant may visit the e-Samaj Kalyan Portal: https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in/
Step 02: On the home page, under the tab ‘Citizen Login’, click on New User ‘Please Register Here’.
Step 03: Enter your Full Name as per Aadhaar Card, Gender, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Card Number, Email ID, Caste etc. and then click on ‘Register’.
Step 04: After successful registration, the applicants can login through their User ID and Password.
Step 05: Now, click on ‘User Profile’ to update your profile.
Step 06: Fill in all the mandatory information and then click on ‘Update’.
Step 07: After updating the profile successfully, select the scheme appearing on the home page; an application form will open.
Step 08: Fill in all the mandatory details in the application form and upload all the relevant documents.
Step 09: Now agree with the terms & conditions and click on ‘Save Application’.
Step 10: Submit the application form and take out the print of the application for future reference. The applicant can note down the application number to track the application status by logging into the portal using their User ID and Password.
