The Cluster Nutritional Kitchen Garden Scheme (CNKGS) aims to empower marginal farmers and the general public by promoting the cultivation of vegetables and the rearing of livestock within their own households. Eligibility

  • Resident of Arunachal Pradesh: Applicants must be permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh, possessing valid residential proof such as ration card, electricity bill, or driving license.
  • Marginal Farmers: The scheme is open to marginal farmers who own or lease small areas of agricultural land suitable for kitchen gardening. Land ownership documents or lease agreements may be required as proof.
  • General Public: Individuals from the general public who are interested in establishing a kitchen garden and meet the eligibility criteria are also eligible to apply for the scheme.
  • Availability of Space: Applicants must have sufficient space within their premises to establish a kitchen garden. Adequate land or open space is necessary for growing vegetables and rearing livestock.
  • Commitment and Capability: Eligible individuals should demonstrate the commitment and capability to maintain and sustain the kitchen garden. This includes dedicating time and effort for regular care, watering, and management of the garden.
