Details

The Cluster Development Scheme aims to promote the development of artisans in the handloom and handicraft sector of the state. It facilitates clusters of a minimum of 25 artisans who can work together to produce goods. The scheme provides various types of assistance, including diagnostic surveys, design development, training, common facility centers (C.F.C.), margin money, managerial subsidies, publicity, export support, and marketing facilities.

Eligibility

Any artisan (Karigar) can apply. The scheme is applicable to co-operative institutes, registered institutes, and registered trusts across the state. There are no specific income limits or educational qualifications required.

Application Process

  1. Obtain the application form from the relevant district's District Industries Center or the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries Office, 7/2, Udyog Bhavan, Gandhinagar.
  2. Submit the completed application form to the District Industries Center of the respective district.
