Details
The "Children's Drawing and Painting Competition", organised by the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Goa, aims to encourage creativity and artistic expression among Goan children and to develop a healthy competitive spirit at a young age. The competition is held annually at the Taluka level on Children's Day (14th November) or another suitable date at venues decided by Kala Academy. Winners from the Taluka level qualify for the State Level Competition.
Children are grouped into four categories:
Category A: 1st to 4th Std (Primary)
Category B: 5th to 7th Std (Middle School)
Category C: 8th to 10th Std (High School)
Category D: 11th & 12th Std (Higher Secondary)

Eligibility
- The competition is open to children studying up to 12th standard.
- Participants must be residents of Goa.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should request the prescribed format of the application form free of charge from the Kala Academy, Block A, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panaji, Goa.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Member Secretary, Kala Academy, Goa.
