Details
The Chief Minister Specially Abled Samman Pension Scheme provides financial assistance to specially abled individuals in Rajasthan. Eligible applicants include those with disabilities such as blindness, low vision, locomotor disability, leprosy cured, hearing impairment, mental retardation, or mental illness, with a disability of 40% or more. Additionally, individuals who are naturally dwarfed (with a height of less than 3 feet 6 inches for adults) or who are naturally transgender are also eligible. Applicants must be residents of Rajasthan and have a combined annual income of up to ₹60,000 from all sources. The scheme began accepting online applications without human intervention from October 2, 2021, using metadata from the Jan Aadhar portal.
Benefits
- - Monthly pension of ₹750for women under 55 and men under 58
- Monthly pension of ₹1,000for women 55 and older and men 58 and older but under 75
- Monthly pension of ₹1,250for pensioners aged 75 and older
- Monthly pension of ₹1,500for any age leprosy cured specially abled individuals
- Additional monthly amount of ₹300for pensioners under 80 and ₹500for those 80 and older, with the remaining amount covered by the state government
- Monthly pension of ₹750 for women under 55 and men under 58
- Monthly pension of ₹1,000 for women 55 and older and men 58 and older but under 75
- Monthly pension of ₹1,250 for pensioners aged 75 and older
- Monthly pension of ₹1,500 for any age leprosy cured specially abled individuals
- Additional monthly amount of ₹300 for pensioners under 80 and ₹500 for those 80 and older, with the remaining amount covered by the state government.
Eligibility
Individuals with disabilities (40% or more) such as blindness, low vision, locomotor disability, leprosy cured, hearing impairment, mental retardation, or mental illness. Residents of Rajasthan with an annual income of up to ₹60,000. Must not be employed by or a pensioner of the central or state government or public sector undertakings.
Exclusions
Individuals or their spouses or children who are employed by or pensioners of the central government, other state governments, or public sector undertakings are not eligible.
