i) Government institutes/colleges/universities ii) Institutions of National Importance iii) Central/State Universities; autonomous colleges recognized by UGC; and institutions recognized under Section 2(f) and/or 12(b) of the UGC Act iv) Deemed Universities v) Private universities/institutions affiliated with Central/State Universities vi) Government/Government-aided/Private schools (for Classes XI and XII)
vii) State/UT-recognized diploma-granting institutions viii) NCVT-affiliated vocational training institutes ix) Institutions recognized by regulatory bodies such as MCI, AICTE, etc.
Cancellation of Scholarship:
The Directorate reserves the right to cancel the scholarship under the following circumstances:
(a) If the student is involved in misconduct or disciplinary proceedings, as reported by the concerned institution.
(c) If the student is found to be ineligible at any stage, either during verification or thereafter. In such cases, the student shall be liable to refund the entire scholarship amount received.
