Details

The Chief Minister Old Age Samman Pension Scheme provides financial assistance to elderly residents of Rajasthan. Women aged 55 years or older and men aged 58 years or older who are original residents of Rajasthan and currently residing in the state are eligible. Applicants must not have a regular source of income for themselves and their spouse, or their total annual income from all sources must be less than ₹48,000. Families belonging to BPL, Antyodaya, or those holding a Bhamashah card, as well as individuals from the Sahariya, Kathodi, and Kherwa communities, are exempt from the income criteria. Since October 2, 2021, the scheme has implemented an online application process that allows for automatic approval of applications without human intervention, utilizing metadata from the Jan Aadhar portal.

Eligibility

Women aged 55 years or older and men aged 58 years or older who are original residents of Rajasthan and currently residing in the state. Applicants must not have a regular source of income or have an annual income of less than ₹48,000. Exemptions apply for certain community members.

Exclusions

Individuals who are currently employed by the central government, other state governments, state government enterprises, or are pensioners from these entities are not eligible for this pension.
