Details

The Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students who have secured a position in the top one lakh of the Rajasthan Secondary Education Board's higher secondary examination and whose family annual income is up to ₹2,50,000. Eligible students will receive ₹500 per month (₹5,000 annually), while talented differently-abled students will receive ₹1,000 per month (₹10,000 annually) as announced in the budget for 2019-20.

Eligibility

  1. Must have passed the 12th examination from the Rajasthan Secondary Education Board, Ajmer with a minimum of 60% marks and secured a position in the top one lakh of the merit list.
  2. Family annual income must be up to ₹2,50,000.
  3. Must be enrolled in a regular course at a government or recognized non-government higher/technical institution in Rajasthan.
  4. Must be a native resident of Rajasthan.
  5. Must not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship or equivalent scheme from the Government of India or State Government.
  6. Must have a bank account in a nationalized bank.
  7. Must possess an Aadhaar card.
  8. Must have a Bhamashah card; online application cannot be completed without it.

Exclusions

Students receiving benefits from any other scholarship or equivalent scheme from the Government of India or State Government are not eligible.
