Details

The Chief Minister's Collective Marriage and Grant Scheme 2021 has been implemented by the Rajasthan government to promote collective marriages, reduce extravagance in weddings, and curb social evils such as child marriage and dowry. The scheme is currently applicable throughout Rajasthan. Under this scheme, a grant of ₹25,000 is provided, which includes ₹21,000 for the bride and ₹4,000 for the organizing institution, disbursed through IFMS.

Eligibility

The grant is available to organizations and institutions that conduct collective marriages with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 500 couples at the same location and time. At least one of the bride or groom must be a native of Rajasthan. The minimum age for the groom is 21 years and for the bride is 18 years.
