Cash Award to Women Players of the State

The scheme "Cash Award to Women Players of the State" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to promote participation of women in sports and recognize their achievements by awarding them cash incentives for outstanding performance in state-level and national-level competitions. Female athletes securing the first, second, or third position in individual or team sports at the state level, or representing Gujarat at national competitions, receive annual scholarships based on their rank and category. The scheme is implemented by the Sports Authority of Gujarat.

• First Position (Individual & Team Sports at State Level/ National Representation): ₹4,800/- per year - Second Position (Individual & Team Sports at State Level): ₹3,600/- per year - Third Position (Individual Sports at State Level): ₹2,400/- per year

1. The applicant should be a woman.
2. The applicant should be a student.
3. The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
4. The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.
5. The applicant should have secured first, second, or third position in individual or collective sports competitions held at the state level.
6. The applicant should have represented Gujarat state in national-level sports competitions.
7. The applicant’s accomplishment must have occurred within the respective financial year.

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should download the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the below address of the Sports Authority of Gujarat.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
